BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Iran's crude output in December 2023 totaled 3.143 mb/d, Trend reports.
As per OPEC's data, the country's oil production in the reporting period declined by 11,000 b/d month-on-month.
However, compared to October (3.122 mb/d), Iran boosted its oil output by 21,000 b/d.
As per OPEC's secondary sources, Iran's oil production is calculated to have achieved 2.855 mb/d throughout 2023, indicating a year-on-year increase of 301,000 b/d.
Meanwhile, in December 2023, the average crude oil production for the total OPEC-12 reached 26.7 mb/d, reflecting an increase of 73,000 b/d month-on-month.
The rise in crude oil output was predominantly observed in Nigeria and Iraq, whereas Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iran experienced a decline in production.
