Development of new ring road in Tehran

"Expanding roads in the province would manage transportation, the following ring road would connect to other main freeways, "said Mohammad Eslami, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The third ring road is 157 kilometers and development of roads in the province is important for economy and industry," he said.

"The government has previously operated a freeway connecting Tehran to the north of the country and connection from Haraz road to Firuzkuh County in the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) that reduce the traffic," he said.

The minister has inaugurated seven mega projects in Tehran Province on Thursday that have cost $35 million.

The projects included a plan to upgrade roads in the province, creating roads landscapes, construction of road offices, improving the second ring road in Tehran Province that would affect the conditions of all roads in the province.
