( Worldcarfans ) - British manufacturer Farbio have today announced their all-new, all-British Farbio GTS sports car, now swinging into full production at their facility in Bath in the South West of England. Priced from a little under sixty grand for the base GTS and a smidgen over seventy thousand pounds for the Supercharged version, the Farbio GTS boasts sports car refinement with an 'understated' elegant style.
Its carbon fibre body and space framed chassis lighten the GTS, weighing in at between 1048 and 1066 kgs, giving it 'exceptional aerodynamic grip control'. Power-to-weight ratios are therefore impressive, with the Supercharged model having 360 bhp per ton and the standard model, 250 bhp per ton, enabling an estimated 0- 60 mph sprint in 4.8 seconds for the normally-aspirated model and 3.9 seconds for the Supercharged GTS. Fully adjustable dampers and large vented front and rear brake discs provide an exciting, precise ride in addition to highly capable braking.
Inside, Farbio GTS owners are treated to many creature comforts, with a 'spacious, ergonomic interior' featuring touch-screen satellite navigation, air conditioning and a sound system as standard, as well as fully adjustable Sparco reclining seats. Boot space allows for 220 litres of stowage, whether that be the week's shopping or a set of golf clubs.
If you're wanting your hands on this British beast, Farbio's waiting list is presently 8 months, with an order book worth ?11 million over the next three years. Head over to their website for more details.
