Consumer Price Index Exceeds 100% in Azerbaijan in September

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Khalilova / In September the prices of foodstuff products increased by 1.5% compared to August, non-food products 0.4% and tariffs on services 0.7%, the State Statistics Committee said on 9 October. The Consumer Price Index was 101.1% in September.

The price of bread and macaroni products, children's food, meat and milk production, chicken, tins, sausages, butter, alcoholic drinks, confectionary, coffee, tea, sugar, fruit (bananas and peaches) and vegetables (carrots, beets, tomatoes, pears, garlic, eggplant, cabbage) grew during the month, but the price of rice, flour, fish, lemons, apples, grapes, cucumbers, plums, nuts, peppers, onions and potatoes went down.
