Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend / Portfolio of UniLeasing, an Azerbaijani insurance company, in 4 regional zones of Azerbaijan exceeds AZN 2mln, the company said.
The leasing portfolio of the company comprised AZN 2.1mln on 1 December 2007. The total amount of contracts signed by regional representatives of UniLeasing totalled 75, and the total cost of leasing facilities exceeded AZN 2.8mln.
The Northwest region achieved the highest results at 53% of the regional leasing portfolio of the company, whereas 18% fell on Southeast region, 17% on North region and 12% on Northeast region.
Construction equipment occupies a major part in the portfolio (30%), which is followed by commercial real estate (27%), transport (25%), industrial equipment (13%) and medical equipment (2%).
A plan to form a leasing portfolio totalling AZN 1.75mln by the end of December 2007 was developed for the regional branches.
The leasing portfolio in the period by the end of 2008 was defined in the amount of AZN 5mln.
