The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continued its downward movement on Tuesday after an initial increase at the start of the week, data released by OPEC showed on Wednesday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crudes stood at 121.69 dollars Tuesday, 41 cents lower than the previous day, reported dpa.
OPEC calculates an average basket price based on 13 important brands produced by cartel members.
