Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 October / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova / A total of 100% of pensioners in cities of Azerbaijan and 70% of pensioners in villages and settlements have been provided with plastic cards to get their pensions, the State Fund for People's Social Protection said on 20 October.
Totally, 87% of all Azerbaijani pensioners or 960,000 people get their pensions through plastic cards. A total of 417 additional cash dispensers, including 51 in villages and settlements, have been installed in the country by the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Kapital Bank.
Azerbaijan has more than 1.5mln pensioners.
