Kazakhstan has coped well with the tenge's devaluation, U.S. Ambassador Richard Hoagland told Trend .
"I share the opinion of many experts [...] who say Kazakhstan has coped well with the tenge's devaluation given the current global financial crisis," Hoagland said.
"This was a shock as the tenge was swiftly devalued. It will allow economists and bankers to focus on over-coming the crisis," he added.
"The Kazakh government coped not only with the tenge's devaluation, but also rendered serious support to banks and the construction and social sectors," Hoagland said.
