Additional funds may be granted from the state budget to build cold storage facilities in 2009, Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Ismat Abbasov said.
"Farmers need cold storage facilities to keep products for a long time," he said.
Abbasov said 10 million manat have been allocated to the Agrolizing company.
Seven cold storage facilities have been built instead of the planned 55 via these funds.
"Farmers need cold storage facilities as we are seeing a dramatic rise in agricultural products," minister said.
