Azerbaijani bank’s assets reduced by January

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.12 / Trend corr N. Ismayilova / Assets of Azerbaijan's Texnika Bank dropped by 4.5 percent by January thus making up 429.9 million manats on Feb.11, a source in the bank said on Feb.12. This figure was 450.1 million manats on Jan.1, 2008.

The bank's deposit portfolio dropped by 17.7 percent to 150 million mantas, with 86.8 million being the depositors' funds.

Liability of the bank made up 361.6 million manats by early 2009.

The bank's credit portfolio comprised 328.3 manats, including 62.7 million consumer loan. This figure made up 64.4 million manats on Dec.1, 2008.

Joint capital of the bank made up 55.02 million mantas. The authorized capital made up 26.91 million manats.

The bank's profit made up 3.9 million manats after payment of taxes, reducing by 71.1 percent compared to 13.8 million manats on Jan.1.

The bank had 43,352 active plastic cards on Jan. 1, with an rise of 664 over a month. 

Texnika Bank has 35 branches, 47 ATMs and 330 POS-machines in Azerbaijan. 

The official currency rate of $1 is 0.8065 manats on Feb.12.
