The labor and social protection ministers from 20 countries will discuss social protection during the global financial crisis, head of the Azerbaijani Labor and Social Protection Ministry's International Cooperation Department Elnur Sultanov said on Feb. 23.
The meeting will open in Moscow on Feb. 25-26.
"Labor and Social Protection Minister Fizuli Alakbarov will represent Azerbaijan at the meeting," Sultanov said.
Sultanov added that the meeting will involve ministers from 20 countries, including the EU.
The meeting will be held under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
"The meeting will focus on socio-economic development on the backdrop of the crisis," Sultanov said.
