Azerbaijan's first reinsurance company AzRe Tekrarsigorta will hold a shareholders meeting on Feb. 27, the company said.
A report on the company's financial activities in 2008 will be discussed. A budget will also be approved for 2009. Administrative issues will also be examined at the meeting.
AzRe received a license from the Finance Ministry to conduct reinsurance activities on Nov. 7, 2007. The company's authorized capital is two million manat.
Six individuals are company shareholders.
The company offers non-life insurance to local and regional insurance and reinsurance companies.
