Construction work worth 807.5 million manat was performed in Jan.-Apr. 2009, a 3-percent rise from the same period of 2008, the State Statistics Committee said.
The share of state-owned enterprises totaled 248.2 million manat and private enterprises 559.3 million manat.
Newly-erected buildings, restoration and enlargement work account for 574.1 million, capital repairs 126.3 million manat, current repairs 55.6 million manat and 51.5 million manat for other construction work.
