10% boost in exports from Khorramshahr

During the past month over 74,032 tons of goods were exported from Khorranshahr port showing a 10 percent increase compared to the same period of the year before, said the director of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines of Khorramshahr.

The value of the goods exported from this port in this month reached more than $21 million.

Najm Beitchanan stated that there were 88 exported products including construction material, foodstuff, spare parts and household appliances mainly sent to Kuwait, Iraq, UAE, the UK, Australia, Canada and Qatar.

He pointed out that trade with Iraq is growing day by day due to increasing confidence of Iraqi merchants and consumers in Iranian goods.
