The number of overdue bank loans in Georgia's "Credit-Info" has increased. In August, 238, 265 entries were made to the "black list" of debtors, which is 6, 000 higher than July.
In July, the number of overdue loans amounted to 232 122.
The opposition is calling for public debt to banks to be frozen, but the authorities state that the loan agreements between banks and creditors are governed by agreements reached between them and the state can not interfere in the affairs of private banks.
