Iran to launch largest aluminum plant Jan.9

Tomorrow, Iran will launch the country's largest aluminum plant in the city of Bandar Abbas in the Hormuzgan province.
Hormuz AL Aluminum Plant's capacity is 147,000 tons of aluminum, Iribnews reported.
The country launched construction of this plant in 2005. With the launch of the aluminum plant, Iran's aluminum production will grow by 47 percent.
Construction of the plant cost 400 million euros and 200 billion tumen ($200 million). The plant will employ about 700 people and 7,000 people have opportunities for work in connection with the activities of this plant.
