Transport Services Center has paid grain exporters to compensate part of their railway tariff expenses on the territory of Russia, the company said.

"A total of 57 million tenge has been allocated to two huge Kazakh grain exporters, DEN and APK-Invest, to cover their expenses," the company said.

In accordance with a November Kazakh decree, 21, 5 billion tenge has been allocated to the Transport Services Center to compensate for exporters' expenses while transporting Kazakh grain via the territory of Russia.

"Thus, transport expenses on the territory of Russia are compensated with the amount of $20 per ton of transported grain. The allocated funds are expected to be enough to compensate the transportation of 1.7 million tons of grain," the source said.

According to a contract between the Kazakh Trade and Communications Ministry and the Transport Services Center, the expenses will be covered after the grain is supplied to the desired destination; after issuing overheads by railway exporters and after signing an act on the implementation of work with the exporter.

Transport Services Center is a transport and expedition company with a private freight carriage park established in 2006.
