$250m allocated to reinforce school buildings

$250 million was earmarked for the State Organization of Schools Renovation, Development and Mobilization to strengthen flimsy school buildings in Iran.

The Mehr News Agency reported from Iran's Majlis (parliament) on Sunday that the representatives of the people approved to allocate $250 million as part of the next Iranian calendar year's (starting March 21, 2010) Budget Plan.
