The sides exchanged views on perspectives of further expansion of cooperation in the trade and economic and legislative spheres, in the sphere of media outlets, private investments.
One of the main topics of the discussions was interaction in fuel and energy sector, mutual interest in the development of which Turkmenistan and European Union consolidated in May 2009 by signing a special memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the energy sphere.
