Tariffs on cargo transportation fell by 6.8 percent in August compared to July, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported. Tariffs on passenger transportation increased by 0.4 percent.
Tariffs on railway cargo transportation within the country and transportation to abroad increased by 6.9 and 0.4 percent, respectively. Tariffs on imported cargo fell by 4.4 percent. Additionally, goods transits decreased by 1 percent.
Cargo transportation by air in July remained unchanged, with passenger transportation tariffs increasing by 0.6 percent). Tariffs on transportation via pipelines decreased by 13.6 percent.
