Deepening cooperation in tourism sphere between Georgia and Israel was discussed Oct.11 by the Minister of economy and sustainable development of Georgia Vera Kobalia and Israel's Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov.
The ministers are in Sighnaghi, where they will to see the city and discuss development of the infrastructure in the region, Kakheti Information Center told Trend.
"I'm going to get better acquainted with the tourism infrastructure in Georgian regions in order to plan a future long-term strategy of mutual cooperation in tourism," Misezhnikov said.
Ministers have already visited the Stepantsminda church and museums.
Cooperation in the tourism sphere between the two countries was planned in summer when Georgian former economy minister Zurab Pololikashvili was in Israel.
