Turkmenistan prepares a draft law "On privatization of residential buildings", intended to be another important step towards the realization of large-scale housing program, an official Turkmen source said.
According to the Economy and Development Ministry, at this stage of mortgage lending programs' coverage expands. These measures are being taken under the national program on the social and living conditions in villages, towns, cities, districts and district centers until 2020. In this case the matter is about the possibility of purchasing a new home.
It is noted that the annual plan for this program has been carried out at 107.3 percent. In the country's all regions continues construction and reconstruction of social and industrial facilities, form a modern engineering and technical infrastructure.
In Turkmenistan, the privatization of housing was ceased by the former President Saparmurat Niyazov, who made an exception for Russian migrants. In this regard, a special document was adopted and signed in May 1995 by Niyazov and his Russian counterpart Boris Yeltsin.
Berdimuhammadov as priorities for Mps' lawmaking called "allocation of favorable loans for purchase of comfortable housing and increase housing construction." At governmental meetings the Turkmen leader has repeatedly drawn attention to numerous violations, both in construction and distribution of housing.
