In connection with the cases of mass death of poultry in the Samukh region in the west of Azerbaijan, the State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture conducts laboratory analysis of the taken samples, the State Service's spokesman Yolchu Valiyev told Trend today.
"Cases of mass death of poultry were registered in the west of the country last week. We are now conducting analyses, and we will soon announce their results," Valiyev said.
According to him, without the results of analyses it is early to say anything about the probability of the repetition of such problems.
"All necessary measures to prevent further spread of these cases have already been taken," Valiyev said.
