The European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (EEIG) has awarded CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines" with the European service standard, EEIG said.
The European service standard was awarded through the unanimous decision of the EEIG Board of Directors in January 2011.
CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines", the largest national airline of Azerbaijan, is a member of the International Air Transport Association, with its base airport being the Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport, located 20 kilometers north-east of Baku. The company makes flights to Europe, CIS, Middle East and Asia. It plans to open regular routes to the countries of North America and South-East Asia after purchasing a new batch of Boeing long-range aircrafts in 2014.
