Georgian, Moldovan tourism agencies ready to sign memorandum of cooperation

Director of Tourism Agency of Republic of Moldova Ludmila Demetrash, who is on an official visit to Georgia, met with the head of the Georgian Tourism Department Maia Sidamonidze on Wednesday. The meeting took place at the Tourism Information Center in Tbilisi.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in tourism, as well as the issues of activation of cooperation within GUAM.
Sidamonidze and Demetrash agreed to create a single tourism product in order to present it to the international market.
They also reviewed a memorandum of cooperation, which is expected to be concluded within the tourism exhibition in Moldova in April.

After the meeting Demetrash left for Kakheti, where she visited the ancient wine cellars, got acquainted with traditions and culture of Georgian wine.
Demetrash will also visit Batumi and will meet with the Head of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Levan Varshalomidze, look around the infrastructure of the city and get acquainted with the potential of Adjara.
