Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 23 /Trend/
Azerbaijan Railways has introduced a temporary schedule for trains traveling from Azerbaijan to Russia, the company reported today.
The new schedule will come into force from Feb. 23 to March 26 this year, and a new schedule will be applied from March 26.
The new schedule is introduced in connection with the Russian Railways' decision to terminate the movement of passenger and freight trains on the Samur-Artesian section (the North Caucasian Railways) at night from Feb. 4 in an attempt to ensure safety.
Such measures are taken due to the increasing incidents of explosions in Dagestan in recent years.
