Turkey's exports in February increase 24.19 percent

Turkey's exports in February were up 24.19 percent when compared to the same month in 2010 and reached a figure of $10,164,614,000, the Turkish Assembly of Exporters (TIM) announced Tuesday.

Turkey's exports in February were up 24.19 percent when compared to the same month in 2010 and reached a figure of $10,164,614,000, the Turkish Assembly of Exporters (TIM) announced Tuesday.

According to TIM, Turkey's exports in the first two months of 2011 went up 22.56 percent when compared to the same period in 2010 and reached a figure of $19,725,771,000.

Turkey's exports in the last one year went up 15.32 percent and reached a figure of $117,530,760,000, Anadolu News Agency reported.

The three Turkish sectors with most exports in February were automotives ($1.6 billion), iron-steel ($1.3 billion) and ready made clothing ($1.3 billion).
