Insurance Company AXA MBASK has granted furniture and technical equipment to the children of the orphanages and other organisations caring for the children deprived of parental case around Azerbaijan, the company's press release says.
The employees of AXA MBASK IC organised charitable actions at the orphanages of Baku, Gyanja, Guba, Lenkoran and Sheki on their own as well as in conjunction with the personnel of Save the Children.
Commenting on this campaign, Samir Mamedov of Save the Children said, "Save the Children, the leading international organisation protecting children's rights, works towards building up a peace where every child would be able to use his or her right of life, protection, development and involvement. Our personnel works in the immediate proximity to the children that need special car and so knows their needs very well. This is why we value highly this step. In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of AXA MBASK Rashad Abbasov said, " АХА MBASK has been organising charitable actions for several years. Social responsibility has become a part of our corporate culture."
"We appreciate that the children left without parental care make up the most vulnerable section of the society and stand in need of constant attention and support. We hope that our action has helped in some way. A smile on a child's face is a treasure. We realise the importance of such projects as they unfold in the future as well," Abbasov said.
It should be remembered that MBASK Insurance Company changed its majority shareholder when AXA Group (France) acquired the controlling (51 percent) share parcel in the Company via its subsidiary AXA Seguros Generales, S.A, De Seguros Y Reaseguros (Spain) in October last year.
