Iran will construct two new oil storage depots at Mahshahr and Abadan ports with a storage capacity of 370 million liters, IRNA quoted Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Product Distribution Company Ali Hekmat as saying.
"At present, the construction of Abadan oil storage depots with a storage capacity of 100 million liters of oil products is underway," he said.
About 75 percent of the construction process of new oil storage depots in Mahshahr port has been completed. The depot has a storage capacity of 270 million liters of oil products.
The National Iranian Oil Product Distribution Company plans to develop Mahshahr region by constructing a fuel transfer center for plane.
Abadan region provides fuel for Abadan, Khoramshahr and Mahshahr and Khoramshahr plants.
