Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli met with Jordanian Transport Minister Mohannad Qudah on Sunday, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Amman said.
The meeting discussed the Jordanian-Azerbaijani transport cooperation and possibility of reviewing available opportunities in this sector.
During talks, Arasli discussed Azerbaijan's achievements in recent years in transportation, steps taken by the government in this area, and large-scale international projects realized by the country.
The officials also discussed a specific time and agenda for the joint Azerbaijani-Jordanian Commission's first meting, which is scheduled to take place in Jordan this coming autumn. The meeting will be held to discuss international road connections in accordance with an agreement between the governments' two countries. The purpose is to consider and develop cooperation in this sphere between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
