Tbilisi hosts a business forum, at which more than 30 Kazakh companies study the investment opportunities in Georgia, CEO of the Georgian Commerce Chamber Nino Chikovani told on Tuesday.
The investors interested in engineering, food, construction and chemical industries.
"A seminar on tax and customs systems in Georgia will also be held for the Kazakh businessmen. This forum should contribute to investment activities and subsequent development of business relations between the two countries," Chikovani said.
The volume of Kazakh investments in Georgia amounted to $11.7 million in January-August 2011.
"According to statistics, Georgia received Kazakhstan's products valued at $ 38 million and Georgia exported goods at $140 million in January-August," she said.
