Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for South-Eastern Europe, Turkey, the Caucasus and Central Asia Olivier Descamps discussed future cooperation, the Prime Minister's press service reported.
"The cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EBRD in implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as cooperation in financial and investment spheres were discussed during the meeting," the report said.
Over the past 5 years, EBRD's investment into Kazakhstan has doubled. Most funds are directed at transport, energy and banking spheres.
