The Georgian Marine Transport Agency is preparing to conclude a memorandum of cooperation with Turkey, the Agency said on Wednesday.
According to the report, a Turkish delegation is in Georgia which will become acquainted with the situation in the maritime transport industry resulting in a memorandum with the Georgian side.
One of the key points will be the recognition of Georgian companies' identity documents by Turkey.
The Turkish delegation has already visited Batumi Maritime Academy, Anri Training Centre and the Batumi Navigation Teaching University.
Today the Georgian and Turkish delegations will hold talks, which will clarify the details of the memorandum.
