Turkmenistan, Ashkhabad, Dec 22 /Trend H.Hasanov/

The Commerce and Industry House of Turkmenistan is planning to conclude a contract with the Iranian company Pars Pegah Tejarat, official Turkmen source said on Thursday an.

The same document approved the structure of the organisation's commission and is due to be signed by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Under the contract it is planned to hold a specialised trade exhibition of goods from the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ashgabat scheduled for 21-23 February 2012.

The presidential decree says that it is done 'in order to further strengthen and develop economic and trade relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation between business circles of both countries, as well as explore the potential of partnership'.

Turkmenistan along with Iran has carried out such major projects as the construction of the Dostluk reservoir, the Tejan-Sarakhs-Mashad railroad and interstate pipelines and power lines.
A major North-South rail project is being carried out at along with Kazakhstan with the Asian Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank backing the laying of the railway.

Both parties are also negotiating to increase energy supplies from Turkmenistan.
