The Azerbaijani State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning has prepared a draft of the detailed plan of Baku center for approval, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Dovlethan Dovlethanov told Trend on Thursday.
He said that the project will be submitted to the head of the executive power of the capital for approval in January.
"The work over the project has been already completed and agreed with a number of organizations," he said. "A package of the documents was prepared to submit to the head of the executive power for approval. A few remarks were voiced during the discussions with other agencies. They were taken into account in the final draft."
A detailed plan of the capital covers the period up to 2030.
He said that the plan covers an area of approximately 1,500 hectares from the "Amay" shopping center to the National Flag Square on the horizontal and from the Seaside Boulevard to Bakikhanov street on the vertical.
