Kazakhstan increased the volume of chemical industry production to 129.6 billion tenge ($872.2 million) in January-November, 2011 compared to 91.4 billion tenge ($615 million) in the same period of 2010 (up by 22.5 percent), the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies reported on Wednesday.
Moreover, Kazakhstan increased export of products of high repartitions in 2011. The export of such products increased by two times in January to September 2011 compared to the same period of 2010.
Labor productivity in the Kazakh chemical industry increased by 57.8 percent in January to November. Labour productivity was $31,400 per person in January-November 2010 and hit $19,900 per person in the same period of 2010.
Moreover, Kazakhstan launched 21 plants and created 3,500 working places in the chemical industry in 2010-2011.
