Turkish company plans to launch mining wastes processing plant in Kazakhstan

One of the leading Turkish companies in the metals and mining sector Ketmak plans to launch a plant on mining wastes processing and disposal in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies reported on Monday.

A new plant will be built most likely in Kazakh Karaganda region, rich in minerals and raw materials.

Earlier a negotiation took place between the Turkish delegation and the leadership of the Kazakh National Agency for local content development NADLoC under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies. The issues on bilateral cooperation and the possibility of attracting Turkish investments into production of equipment for mining wastes processing and disposal were discussed at the meeting.

Ketmak, established in 1997, is a leading Turkish company in the metals and mining sector. It works in more than twelve countries and provides wastewater treatment solutions to granite, ceramic and marble industries.
