The Kyrgyz Parliament has delayed the consideration of draft agreement on supplies of Russian petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) to Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG reported on Monday.

MP Galina Skripkina said the intergovernmental agreement with Russia needs additional improvement thereby its consideration is delayed till the next session of Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Also Skripkina added that Kyrgyz parliamentarians are confused by the participation of oil traders in the supplies of Russian POL to Kyrgyzstan and this issue should be solved.

The MP also added that the agreement between Russia and Kyrgyzstan should comprise clear terms of re-export control.
Eight percent of Kyrgyz POL market is used for producing fuel, while 92 percent is imported.
