Cessna company sells aircraft to Kazakhstan

The authorized representative of U.S. Cessna Aircraft company in Kazakhstan and Russia - Jet Transfer company signed a contract to sell Cessna 208B Grand Caravan turboprop aircraft to a Kazakh company, Jet Transfer reported on Thursday.

Kazakh company's name is not indicated in the statement.

Cessna 208B Grand Caravan aircraft will be delivered to Kazakhstan in late August 2012 and will be the first aircraft of this class in the country.

"Cessna Grand Caravan is an aircraft with excellent flight characteristics. Some new aircrafts are already successfully operating in Russia. The Kazakh party will be satisfied with the acquired aircraft," the company's Managing Director Alexander Evdokimov said.

The aircraft will be used for regional charter. It can be used for passengers, cargo transportation and specific tasks due to its design multi-functionality.
