Number of transactions on Georgian local market increases by 38 percent

The number of transactions in the Georgian real estate market has grown by 38 per cent in May compared to April.

In May, there were 51,243 transactions of which the primary transaction amounted to 11,079 and secondary - 40 164, the public registry of Georgia told Trend on Tuesday.

Growth was registered at 60.8 per cent for the primary transaction and 33 per cent - secondary.

The growth of transactions amounted to 15.5 per cent in May 2012 compared to May 2011. The share of primary transactions accounted for 82.4 per cent, the secondary - 17.6 per cent last year.
