MTS plans to invest in Turkmenistan in 2012-2015

Capital expenditure of the Russian mobile company MTS in Turkmenistan for 2012-2015 will amount to $40 million dollars, according to the Russian media which is quoting the company.

According to the MTS forecast, the operator will have 440,000 subscribers in Turkmenistan in 2012.

MTS will resume the provision of cellular services to the citizens of Turkmenistan after August 30, 2012.

The SIM-card which was used up till December 2010 should be inserted into the phone to register for the MTS network and receive Turkmenistan customer service. The subscriber will also receive a bonus of 20 per cent of the amount of the account balance, as well as 30 bonus minutes per day for outgoing calls within the MTS network from August 30 to September 30, 2012.

Bonuses and minutes are provided automatically upon registering on the network and does not require any special action.

The bonus is credited to the subscriber's account balance as of August 29, 2012. Preferential minutes are provided to all subscribers who have registered with MTS from August 30 to September 30, with a positive balance in the account.

If a contract has not been terminated, you can recover a lost or defective SIM-card with the existing number and a balance by contacting the dealer. It is possible to connect new numbers in the sales offices no later than September 30, 2012.

It will be possible to connect to the new tariff offers from October 1, 2012.
