Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius received the leaders of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) and Caspian Energy International Media Group on Wednesday.
CEIBC President and CEO Telman Aliyev spoke about the activity of the Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group during the meeting. A matter concerning the conduction of the Caspian European Forum in September 2013 with participation of presidents and prime ministers of CIS and EU countries as well as managers of large national and trans-national companies was discussed at the meeting.
Prime Minister Andrus Kubilus noted that Lithuania would preside in the European Union at that period (second half of 2013). He stressed the importance of using of all available mechanisms (starting from bilateral business meetings and forums right up to participation in large activities and fairs that are held in our countries) for improvement of business relations between the countries.
According to the head of the government of Lithuania, Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Lithuania; economic relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania are developing and the volume of bilateral trade will keep growing.
Lithuania is ready to share an experience with Azerbaijan in spheres which the latter plans to develop.
CEIBC Honorary Membership Certificate was presented to Lithuania's Prime Minister Andrus Kubilus at the meeting. The Prime Minister gave an exclusive interview to Caspian Energy journal.
