'Turkmenchemistry' state concern is planning on realization of new project with Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation and Turkish Renaissance companies, its partners in construction of major industry objects, an official Turkmen source reported on Saturday.
The project is on construction of workshop on production of sulfuric acid with capacity of 500 thousand tons per year at Turkmenbat chemistry plan in Lebap region.
The president Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedow has approved the project, noting that construction and commission of new production complex "will be an important step in radical modernization and technical equipment of state's chemistry industry".
'Turkmenchemistry' manages companies, producing and distributing chemical fertilizers and chemical production in Turkmenistan.
The state concern consists of 9 production companies, a company on services to fertilizer consumers and a sectoral science and research institution.
