The International Monetary Fund (IMF) increased the forecast of Uzbek GDP growth by 0.4 percent to 7.4 percent in 2012, KazTAG reported on Tuesday.
According to the preliminary forecast of April, Uzbek GDP was expected at 7 percent.
IMF expects that Uzbek GDP will be 6.5 percent in 2013.
The organization also increased forecasted level of inflation in the country from 12.7 percent to 12.9 percent and decreased forecasted growth of consumer prices from 10.7 percent to 10.9 percent.
