The State Securities Committee (SSC) takes necessary steps for the effective use of international numbering system of securities, the SSC told Trend on Thursday.
Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents has approved the state standard AZS 642-2012 on structure of registration numbers of investment securities emissions developed by SSC according to the international standard İSO 6166.
This standard is used in accordance with the SSC decision dated May 11, 2012, and is an addition to the rules on emission of investment securities.
In addition, in order for the registration numbering of investment securities emissions to comply with the abovementioned SSC rules, the registration numbers received before May 19, 2012, have been replaced by new ones.
