The material and technical basis of educational institutions was strengthened and introduction of information technologies in the spheres of public health and education was accelerated.
"In 2012 the development of projects on the reconstruction of water supply and sewage systems with their gradual implementation was started in all regions of the country. Implementation of major infrastructure projects in the transport sector were carried out and decisive steps for the creation of informing society in the country were taken. Major investments were made towards the sphere of technologies," Rasizadeh said.
According to him special attention during the reporting period was paid to strengthening the energy security of the country and continuing its oil strategy.
"Important projects are being implemented on expanding the efficiency of generating facilities, construction and reconstruction of power lines and substations in distribution systems.
