The Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia has announced a tender for the purchase of building materials for a 23 kilometre long section of pipeline. The tender will be held today at 17:00.
Under the terms of the tender, it is planned to purchase pipes for the construction of a section of the Zestaponi-Kutaisi gas pipeline and redevelopment of 20 critical areas of the Gori-Kareli site. Building materials should be delivered to the storage site in the Zestafoni and Kareli districts within 120 days after the conclusion of the contract. Submission of tender proposals ends at 16:30 on March 22.
Interested parties should pay a fee of 500 lari. Candidates may only submit one bid. The tender will announce only one winner.
The Oil and Gas Corporation is launching the fourth phase of the 'Gas and energy infrastructure of Georgia' programme funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. The programme envisages construction of a 23km long section of the 700 millimetre gas main and redevelopment of areas at particular risk at the Gori-Kareli site.
