CNPC (China National Petroleum Corporation) has announced a pre-qualification process for the tender for the purchase of gas turbine generator sets for the expansion of power plants in the contract area Bagtyyarlyk, Lebap velayat (region), Turkmenistan.
To expand the performance and capacity of existing power plants located in the Block B of the Bagtyyarlyk contract area (Turkmenistan), consisting of four sets of QD100 gas turbine units with power capacity of 11.25 MW ISO each and total capacity of 45 MW, it is necessary to purchase and install three sets gas turbine power units with capacity of 11-16 MW each (provided ISO temperature of 15°C, atmospheric pressure of 101.325 kPa and relative humidity of 60 percent). The total capacity of power units should exceed 22 MW at the maximum ambient temperature (44°C) in the area.
Gas turbine power units must be installed in an open space. One set of power-generating unit for cold standby and one set in constant operation (hot standby) are required, while others will develop 37MW at the maximum ambient temperature (44°C) in the area.
Any company interested in the tender may apply to participate in the tender with the provision of the following information and documentation:
- Information on the company;
- The company's registration documents and a power of attorney for an authorized representative for the right to submit an application;
- Experience in designing, manufacturing and testing of industrial gas-turbine power units within the last three years.
The deadline for applications is within 10 days after publication of tender information.
