Minister: Resources of Kazakh National Fund to increase at expenses of tax revenues from oil sector

The resources of the Kazakh National Fund will increase from $93.9 billion in 2014 to $122.1 billion in 2016, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev said during the country's governmental meeting on Wednesday.

"Given the anticipated tax revenues from oil industry, it is predicted that the resources of the National Fund will increase from $93.9 billion in 2014 to $122.1 billion in 2016, "the minister said.

At the same time, according to the minister, it is planned to attract around 150 billion tenge worth of target transfer from the National Fund in 2014 for implementation of large infrastructural projects and for preparation to hold EXPO-2017.

According to him, the guaranteed transfer in 2014-2016 is determined in the amount of 1380 billion tenge which corresponds to the level of 2013.
