Largest transport-logistics company of Poland - HATRANS is looking for Kazakh partner for realization of a project in logistics, national agency on export and investment KAZNEX INVEXT reported on Wednesday.
The investor has recently spoke about the plans at the XII industrial exhibition "Europe-Asia. Cooperation without borders", held in Aktobe on October 1-3.
"We want to find a reliable partner in Kazakhstan and jointly increase the cargo transit from China to Europe and vice versa through the territory of the republic. The next step may be construction of a joint transport terminal in Kazakhstan", said commercial director of HATRANS Rafal Bobovsky.
Bobovsky and executive director of the agency Kaznex Invest Nurbolat Seitmagambetov have discussed perspectives of mutual cooperation in development of transportations in Kazakhstan.
HATRANS has logistics terminals in Poland and China. According to Bobovsky, the company weekly transports 40 rail cars of various cargoes from China to Poland and onward to Europe through the territory of Kazakhstan.
"This route is very perspective, as the way from China to Europe through Kazakhstan takes 10-12 days, while alternative sea way - about 45 days", Seitmagambetov said.
Following the negotiations, Kaznex Invest agency and HATRANS signed a MoU on further collaboration in development of transport infrastructure in Kazakhstan.
National agency on export and investment KAZNEX INVEXT was founded on April 2, 2010 by the decision of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies on the base of the Corporation for Export Development and Promotion KAZNEX.
It operates within the frames of National Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the capacity of a national operator of development system and promotion of non-raw export and a specialized state company on attraction and working with foreign investors. KAZNEX INVEST is financed from the republican budget and renders its services free of charges.
